Thomas Markle spoke candidly with Good Morning Britain on Monday, setting the record straight on those staged photographs, as well as revealing the code name he and Meghan used for Prince Harry prior to their royal engagement. Thomas went on to share tidbits on his relationship with his daughter, including her very sweet childhood nickname. Thanks to Meghan's love of Jack and the Beanstalk growing up, her father took to calling her "Beanie" or "Bean" because of how small she was.
Piers Morgan went on to suggest that he may want to use the title "Duchess Bean" from now on, to which Thomas responded "I don't think I'll call her duchess. I don't have to, she's my daughter". So there we have it, while we may now refer to Meghan as the Duchess of Sussex, she will always be Beanie to her family.
WORLD EXCLUSIVE: 'Do you have to call her Duchess Bean now?' - oh dear @piersmorgan!
