Starbucks has added yet another "pink drink" to the menu, but this time it's a Frappuccino. The new Serious Strawberry Frappuccino is what Starbucks is dubbing its first "magenta" Frappuccino, and the blended beverage is a sweet treat that strawberry fanatics will go crazy for. The coffee-free drink starts with a swirl of strawberry fruit puree and is mixed with the new version of Starbucks's Strawberries and Creme Frappuccino (a blend of ice, milk, and "strawberry infusion blend"), and it's finished with strawberry puree and vanilla whipped cream.
Starting on Tuesday, June 5, the Serious Strawberry Frappuccino joins Starbucks's permanent menu in the US and Canada (in other words, it's not a limited-edition offering!). This exciting release comes not long after the launch of the Ultra Caramel and Triple Mocha Frappuccinos, which recently became the first permanent Frappuccino additions in more than a decade. This definitely calls for an afternoon Starbucks run!
