When news broke that Jared Leto was getting his own Joker movie, the internet went into a tailspin with some not-so-happy reactions. The 46-year-old Oscar winner first played the iconic role in 2016's Suicide Squad, which turned out to be a letdown for fans of the character since most of his scenes were cut from the film. To seemingly make up for the lack of Joker, Warner Bros. currently has not one, not two, but THREE movies about the Crown Prince of Crime in the works. In addition to Leto's version, a film about the Joker's origin story starring Joaquin Phoenix is in the works, as well as a third about the Joker's relationship with Harley Quinn. With so much time to kill before any of those movies come out, Twitter users have decided to spend it by sharing their reactions to the news about Leto's upcoming stand-alone film. See their thoughts ahead.
