Hailey Bieber is well-known for her gorgeous, glowing skin. In fact, she's so well-known for it that she created a beauty brand, Rhode, to share all of her essential skin-care secrets and products with the world. But if her skin-care line isn't in your budget, her skin-care smoothie just might be.
The smoothie was created in collaboration with Erewhon Market, the celeb-loved upscale grocery store in LA, and it features hyaluronic acid and Erewhon's sea moss gel as its signature skin-care ingredients. If you want to try the Hailey Bieber smoothie for yourself and you don't live in Southern California, you can order the hyaluronic acid and sea moss online and make the smoothie at home.
But in case you feel that's too much effort to go through for a smoothie — even if it is Hailey Bieber's smoothie recipe — Vital Proteins also shared a simpler version on TikTok that can be made using only vanilla collagen peptides, which have skin benefits, too. Collagen supplements may help improve skin elasticity, according to Harvard Health Publishing. The recipe has lots of other healthy, nourishing, and hydrating ingredients that are good for your body (and thus good for your skin), and that you can find at your local grocery store, such as strawberries, avocado, and dates.
The combination of strawberries, vanilla, and dates makes this smoothie deliciously sweet. If you prefer things less sweet, I recommend using only one date or skipping the maple syrup. The dates add a delicious and unique flavor to this recipe, but if you don't have a powerful blender, you may wind up with some small chunks in the bottom of the glass. All of the ingredients fit in my personal blender, which has a two-cup capacity, but it wasn't quite powerful enough to fully blend the dates. If you're using a smaller appliance, maple syrup might be the best sweetener option.
As delicious and nourishing as this now-famous Hailey Bieber smoothie is on its own, it's definitely made more visually appealing by the coconut cream and strawberry-glaze swirl. I used a recipe from Sally's Baking Addiction for the strawberry glaze. If you can't find coconut cream, you can substitute coconut milk. Pour the coconut cream and strawberry glaze into the bottom of your glass, then top with the smoothie, and enjoy!
Here's exactly how to make Hailey Bieber's strawberry glaze skin-care smoothie, step by step.
