If you're looking to add more wholesome cooking shows like Selena + Chef and Cooking With Paris to your TV rotation, prepare to get hyped for Brooklyn Beckham's new show, Cookin' With Brooklyn. On Dec. 15, the model and photographer launched his first eight-episode cooking series on Messenger, inspired by his favorite quarantine hobby: experimenting with recipes from around the world.
"Cooking really helps you connect with people anywhere.""Quarantine hit, and I was cooking every day, just having fun with it," he said in an interview with Vogue, adding that cooking is therapeutic for him. "Since I was really young, I've been very lucky and been able to travel a lot, so I've really tried all different types of food from different places and different regions. I'm kind of a shy person, so I sometimes have trouble expressing myself to people or talking to people, but cooking really helps you connect with people anywhere."
The show will follow Brooklyn on his journey to becoming a great chef as he re-creates dishes, like salt stone steak, inspired by renowned chefs, including Nobu Matsuhisa, Nancy Silverton, and Chef Roy Choi. "One of my favorite chefs is Nancy Silverton," Brooklyn said. "She's one of my biggest inspirations, and she taught me how to make a blueberry tart. It's the road to me hopefully becoming a great chef one day myself."
